The workshop on Applied Informatics for Economy, Society and Development organized by the Universidad Tecnológica Empresarial de Guayaquil – UTEG, seeks to promote discussion and dissemination of current economics research, systems for territorial intelligence, e-participation, e-democracy and territorial economic development; with special emphasis on social and environmental development.

The objective of this third edition of AIESD 2021 is to discuss aspects related to computer science applied in society. The idea is to learn the different techniques and tools that are used to study social phenomena, economic growth, the interaction between economic analysis and decision-making. The workshop seeks to promote an atmosphere of dialogue among the community of professionals working on issues related to technology and its application in the economy as well as society.

Motivation

This Workshop aims to propose approaches to disseminate good practices and lessons learned to study current economic and business problems considering a variety of concerns and conditions of each territory. These approaches may help researchers to adapt global economic debates according to different agents’ issues that operate in the territories.

  2. Discuss the use of computer science and its impact on monitoring local economic and social development

AIESD seeks to promote discussion and dissemination of current economics research, systems for territorial intelligence, e-participation, e-democracy and territorial economic development; with special emphasis on social and environmental development. 

Call for Papers

All papers should be in PDF format and submitted electronically on the link to EasyChair submission system and selected the track associated with AIESD 2021 Workshop. The submission Web page for AIESD 2021 is https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aiesd2021

Review Process

All submissions will be reviewed by 3 experts. Authors must remove personal details, acknowledgments section and any other information related to the authors’ identity. In addition, all submissions will be screened by Turnitin. Papers with coincidence rate over 25% will be rejected without revision
